Cruel Fable is a dark storybook-inspired action roguelike where you survive waves of twisted creatures, collect gold, build powerful weapon combinations, and shape your character through upgrades and items.
Choose your weapons, strengthen your build between waves, defeat unique bosses, unlock Hard Mode, complete achievements, and compete on the global ranking.

Move with WASD or the Arrow Keys.
Dash with Shift.
Use Heavy Attack with Space.
Interact with F.
Use Ultimate with R.
Use consumable items with the number keys.
Survive each wave, collect gold, purchase upgrades between battles, and defeat bosses to progress.
Hard Mode is unlocked after defeating King Slime for the first time and features timed survival waves with continuous enemy spawning.
